Exfoliation is one of the key ways of keeping your face looking bright, radiant, and smooth. It is important to regularly remove the dead skin cells to prevent blackheads, breakouts, and premature aging. Mechanical exfoliation can be very damaging to the skin because it causes micro-tears in the epidermis, putting you at risk of irritation, redness, and unwanted inflammation. Chemical peels can be a great tool for maintaining the healthy glow of your face while combating uneven texture and discoloration.

What can you expect from the procedure?
The whole treatment lasts around 45 minutes, including the consultation. Everyone’s skin has a different reaction to the formula, however, slight tingling and burning should be expected. Your skin is likely to have a slight yellow tint immediately after the procedure, but the color should subside after 2 or 3 hours. Some redness and peeling are normal.
Aftercare:
Chemical peels make your skin very vulnerable to sunlight, so we recommend wearing daily full spectrum SPF. Your post-treatment skin care routine should include gentle cleansers and creams. Try to stay away from using retinoids or acidic cosmetic products for a couple of weeks after the peel to reduce the risk of irritation.
